SYNOPSIS
Saturday, December 24, 1994.
Four GIA terrorists (Algerian Islamist Group) take an Air France Airbus-300 and its 227 people on board hostage at the Algiers airport. Their intentions are unknown; they are armed and very determined. The terrorists insist their fellow fighters be set free and demand immediate take-off of the plane. SYNOPSIS
1942 – Paris is occupied by Nazi Germans. A young Algerian immigrant named Younes makes his living in the black market. He is arrested by the French police and agrees to spy for them at the Paris Mosque in exchange for his freedom. The police suspects that the rector of the mosque is producing false papers for Jews and members of the French resistance. At the mosque, Younes meets Salim Halali, a singer from Algeria, who charms him with his voice and personality. The two become friends, and Younes soon finds out that Salim is Jewish.
